What Did You Learn?

Kuan Yin has been helping us to transition through a variety of readings, games and Power Circles since 2009. Her advice springs from the I Ching, an ancient book of divination that follows the flow of the cosmos.

The Great Conjunction on Winter Solstice 2020 marked the official start of what some call the Aquarian Age. Kuan Yin simply refers to it as a New Paradigm based on the Common Good. Her guidance for this game comes from Hexagram #21 REFORM:

“Know what you want, know what makes you feel good about your Self, know what brings you into harmony with others. These are your guidelines and principles. Other factors that assume control of your behavior or your health or that create inner discord are the obstacles that must be overcome. Be firm, unemotional, gentle, and clear in annihilating them and thereby reforming your Self and your environment.” ~The I Ching Workbook, R.L Wing

What Did You Learn?

Often our need to be right keeps us from learning what we need to know about difficult situations. The intent of this game has two aspects:

  • How can we learn from our mistakes, missteps and miscommunications?
  • How can we be kind to ourselves and come up with real solutions to follow through on that will help things go better as we move forward?

First, get out some paper and something to write or draw with. Give yourself permission to draw or color during this exercise. Notes to yourself don’t have to be linear!

Next, choose an experience that you know you need help with and are willing to look at honestly. Examples might be: What did I learn in the decade between from 2012 and 2022? During the pandemic? In my previous relationship? In how I handle conflict at work? You can make your inquiry as specific or general as you like. Make a note or image of what this inquiry is about.

Then, let’s agree that your responses are for you and that you don’t have to share them with anyone else, unless you want to. This game is for you!

Relax into this symbol and ask for general intuitive information about your situation from Old Sol with these questions. 

“What do I need to know about this? What would be helpful?”

“Is something missing?   Is something lost?
Do I need to let go of something?

Quickly make a note of any answers that come up. You don’t need to understand at this point. Just write down any answers that come to you.

Sometimes our experiences can be pretty rough, yet somehow we make it through. How do we know what worked and what didn’t?

This energy clearing is designed to help you relax and look back at what you’ve learned about a significant life event, now that you can be more objective…

1. Begin by taking a few deep breaths. It’s possible that your experience and the transition coming out of it has been stressful and you still may be feeling it. Use this Circle to help you relax and release some of that tension. Releasing tension can do a lot to prevent or relieve many symptoms of ptsd.

Did this experience contain a lot of conflict, anxiety or frustration for you? Did you feel a lot of judgement or fear? Are you concerned that you might return to certain energies and attitudes that were prevalent then?

If so, relax and imagine that the lines in this first Circle are softening and melting the tension away. Let your shoulders drop and your jaw unclench. Every time you take a deep breath, that feeling loosens up. Take all the time you need with this.

2. Imagine you can open the doors and windows and get a breath of fresh air. It’s been pretty musty in there!

Emotional Calm

Continue breathing and if you can, imagine you can actually relax the tension in the space around you. Go ahead and move around or stretch if you need to.

 

3. Let your senses come back into balance. Some of them may have gotten turned up too high. Some may have shut down completely. You can adjust the volume now.

You might imagine that you’re lying next to a beautiful lake or river, enjoying a gentle breeze, with the sunlight dancing on the water. How refreshing!

Once you’ve taken this time to refresh yourself, notice how different the energy feels now rather than how it did just a few minutes ago. You can let go of all that chaos now.

 

4. Okay. Now we’re ready to dive in with the main question:

What did you learn from _____________________?

Use this Circle to gather pertinent information from your unconscious mind about that experience.

 

5. What did you learn about yourself and how you react?

Bring your attention to your solar plexus area, the place where your instinctual awareness is centered and transmits important information about your needs and how you do your best to meet them.

Utilize this Soul Star Chakra Key to clear out and release toxic energies that may have accumulated in this energy center.

 

6. Kuan Yin wants to know: What do you still need to learn?

Is there anything unresolved? What would you like to have happen going forward?

What Did You Learn? Follow Your Heart

Let this Reiki Chakra Key strengthen your Heart and bring truly beneficial lessons into greater awareness and balance.

Continue to breathe until you feel the energy there can radiate out, like a beautiful star!

 

7. Is there still a CONFLICT left over from that experience? If so, is it your conflict or someone else’s?

How might you handle conflict differently now?

Is there any DANGER left over from that experience? Is there something that needs to be handled around that?

What have you learned about safety, responsibility, boundaries, freedom, etc? Take each specific concern one at a time.

What do they mean to you now that’s different from what it was during that experience? Gather up all that unconscious information so that you can make appropriate changes!

 

8. What did you learned about fear or anxiety and how you handle it?

What did you learn about protecting yourself?

 

9. Did you internalize a lot of things? If so, how did you handle that? What did you learn about that?

If you didn’t take things too personally, what do you think was the secret to your success?

 

10. What did you learn about taking good care of yourself?
What became apparent?
What was the area of most personal growth for you?

Plant Spirits

Would you like to integrate any benefits you learned about those things?
What are your priorities after all of this? What matters the most?

 

11. Do you feel that any changes happened that affected your sense of identity and purpose?

What wisdom does your Soul want you to take with you about that?

 

12. What did you learn about nourishing yourself? What did you change in regard to that? Is it still serving you now? Do you need time to digest and integrate what you learned?

Are you tapping into beneficial nourishment now?

 

13. Are there parts of you that are still caught up in what happened?

If so, see if you can gently and patiently pull your energy back from that experience.

 

14. Do you have any objects in your environment that are keeping you unconsciously connected to that period of time?

Is there any room or part of the building(s) that feels blocked, dead or unable to ground in the New Paradigm?

 

15. Are there any new decisions you would like to make as a result of what you learned?

What would you like to decide differently about dealing with change? How about taking care of others? What have you decided about standing up for yourself and maintaining healthy boundaries? How will you now deal with deception, neglect or misuse of authority?

 

16. What new agreements or intentions do you need to make after that experience?

What new intentions do you want to make about dealing with change? How about taking care of others? What new intentions do you need to make about balanced prosperity? What about standing up for yourself and maintaining healthy boundaries? What are your intentions about dealing with deception, neglect or misuse of authority?

 

17. Let yourself relax for a few minutes while you get centered and find a strong connection in your heart center to empower the positive changes you would like to make.

What Did You Learn?

Ask your Soul to help you integrate all that you’ve learned and use it to empower your highest good as you move into this next phase of your life.

18. What is the very best thing you can do to help yourself in the here and now?

 

19. Take a moment to close down any drains from that period of time that are affecting your energy, your business, your health and your happiness.

 

20. To finish this game, gaze at this last symbol and consciously close any harmful or chaotic energy channels that may still be open from your experience of that time.

“I close down all harmful energy channels.”

Be sure to do that both crossed and uncrossed over the midline of your body.

You’ll know that the harmful channels are closed when the emotional chaos and mental chatter stops. Once that happens, gently and patiently acknowledge your new relationship with generative life flow that exists now to support you.

“I allow myself to receive generative life force.”

Do you need to stop trying to force something to work out a certain way and just trust the process? Nature has a way of righting things on its own; allow this to work for you.
It could be that a recurring pattern of post-traumatic stress is blocking your mind and making it hard to think clearly. Pent up energy needs to be released. Let the Circle help your body do what it needs to do. Use your breath, rhythmic motion, sound and visuals to bring the blockage up and shake it out. Once the stagnant energy is released, allow your body and nervous system to calm down with slower, deeper breaths and softer, rocking movements.

Early childhood and/or cultural conditioning is blocking your spiritual connection. Take the pressure off of having to be a certain way. Doing the opposite of what you think you should do is often the cure. Visualize a warm breeze blowing anxious thoughts up and out of your mind, like a little whirlwind of leaves.

What Process Is Best for Me – Right Now?

Since we’re here to help you develop your intuition, it’s only natural that we would come up with a simple & fun way to decide – using your intuition!

First of all, it’s true that we have quite a few self-healing offerings, so below you’ll find a list of games that pertain to the Soaring Spirit of the Condor.

Each category has a selection of games listed underneath which are numbered 1, 2 and 3.

The first step is to take a moment and think about what’s going on for you and then look at Condor Medicine and ask your heart:

“What category would be most useful for me to look at now?”
Once you have the category number, ask yourself:
“Which number in that category represents the best self healing process for me right now – or is the best place to start?”

Remember to take the very first number that comes to you, because that is your Inner Wisdom speaking or your intuition. If more than one number comes up, write them all down in the order they came to you.
Once you have your number, scroll down the list and check out that process. You might be surprised at what you chose, because intuition doesn’t always makes sense at first. However, I suggest that you trust your first response and explore the exercise anyway. See if it pertains to your situation and feels right.

First – Evaluate Your Situation for the Danger Signs of Shock ~

Are you reliving an old traumatic event? Are you experiencing one now?

Let’s face it. The past few years have been filled with one extreme and jarring piece of news after another. Shock is something that we deal with every day. It’s important to give yourself and others a break by realizing that you might be stuck in a survival pattern because you’ve been listening to so many shocking communications.

If you are overwhelmed by how someone is communicating, it’s very likely that you’re experiencing SHOCK from some past or present form of DANGER.

Welcome to the I Ching Reading and Transformation Game for: Hexagram #29 Danger and #15 – Communicating Moderation

In times of difficulty and danger, it’s usually best to move with the flow of MODERATION, Hexagram #15, where “The predominant forces … are in the process of balancing extremes and harmonizing interests.”

Todays Intuitive Reading - Moderation

Following the flow of MODERATION is the best way to make progress amidst great difficulty. The suggestion is to disengage from confusing extremes or opinionated attitudes and instead, follow the guidance that comes from within so that balance can be re-established. In almost any situation, if you are able to travel on the middle road between extremes, there will be improvement in whatever you undertake.

The second changing line from Hexagram #29 DANGER indicates that “The DANGER is great and cannot be surmounted with one single action…” ~ The I Ching Workbook, R.L. Wing

That means MODERATION won’t just happen by itself. We need to apply ourselves and be devoted in our efforts to communicate in a moderate, balanced manner.


Communicating Through Moderation Will Put You In a Different Flow of Energy ~

As a general rule, MODERATION is the most sensible flow to follow, especially since so much chaos is playing out in the wake of environmental, political and social deterioration. The karma for confusing situations and contradictory mindsets has been fully activated and is best dealt with by following that middle road.

Just to clarify what we mean by karma here –
Karma = Cause & Effect
That means – I have a thought. I make a decision. I act on the decision.
Whatever I have followed through on has natural consequences.
Cause & Effect = Karma.

Most people are navigating through one or another of these general karmic patterns:

  1. Getting sucked into a negative malaise of mental, emotional, physical or spiritual decline.
  2. Stuck in indifference or denial – avoiding personal responsibility.
  3. Activated by past grievance, hatred or rebellious refusal to change.
  4. Getting scattered or revisiting survival patterns from the past, or
  5. Pulling themselves together into a centered position of empowered authority.

Initial Evaluation: As you softly gaze at this Circle, see which of these patterns you are currently experiencing. Ask yourself:

“Am I generally experiencing pattern #1, 2, 3, 4 or 5?”

It could easily be a mix, depending on your mindset and what stage of the karma you’re living through.

Continue to relax into yourself for a moment or two while you contemplate the answer you get.

Regardless of what’s happening, you can make your life easier by letting go of old karmic patterns, agreements or ways of communicating that are ready to be transmuted. This game will help you do that.

Let’s Begin By Calming the Stress in Your Nervous System.

Your nervous system and your ability to communicate are intricately interrelated. Use this Circle for homeostasis to gently collect information about your nervous system and what will help to calm you down.

“I calm down and relax into my breath.”

Take another few minutes to breathe deeply with the intention of coming back into rhythm with your Soul. Listen to your heartbeat and slow down. Let all that external noise from the outside move out.

If you’ve been in traffic, shopping at the super market or watching television, realize that your nervous system takes all that in – and often doesn’t know what to do with it.

It would probably help for you to move around, stretch – or make circular movements until you feel your tension releasing. Take all the time you need with this.

 

Restore your sense of Self with this Circle. Gaze at it softly and remember an activity that you’ve always liked – probably something creative that brings you joy. Relax into it or keep moving if you like.

Does a particular color come to mind?

If you can make it stronger, that’s the color that resonates with your Soul!

Soulful, creative activities help you to get back into your Center and being in your Center is a big help to communicating with moderation.

“I know who I am and I know what’s important to me.

I am learning to communicate through the energy of my Soul.”

If you like to sing, tone or hum, this would be a good time to enjoy them.

 

We’ve been going through an intense period of unstable and conflicting energies and you may be having quite a reaction to the changes that continue to play out. Bring your body back into balance by consciously breathing in on the count of three and slowly exhaling on the count of five. It’s helpful if you can breathe in through your nose.
Do that three or four times while you gaze softly at this Reiki Chakra Key that helps you stabilize your sacrum.

Release your attachment to extremism and cult behavior.
Continue breathing and bring your awareness to your tailbone.
What communication do you need to get in balance about?

 

Let Go of Harmful Karmic Agreements.

Now that you know what you really need to communicate about, use this Soul Contract Circle to help you release social, familial or religious contracts that are harmful or would pull you out of integrity with your Soul.

Gaze softly at the Circle and imagine you can put those contracts into a cleansing violet flame where they can safely burn up into ashes. These affirmations will get you started: 

“I release any agreement that says I’m powerless about what I communicate or how my Soul wants me to do it.
I free myself of other people’s expectations and harmful algorithms.
I let go of communication channels that are detrimental to me.”


“I communicate my needs and priorities clearly and calmly.”
“I release resentment, righteous indignation and hurt feelings.”
“I decide to communicate with care, compassion and _____________.”

What my Soul wants to communicate is of primary importance to me.”

 

Don’t Forget to Let Go of Your Old Agreements with the Status Quo.

Status Quo of the Old ParadigmThe old paradigm was a system built on extreme greed and exploitation enforced through oppressive social, religious and moral contracts. Most of us are still operating out of them to one degree or the other because they’ve been wired into how we go about doing our business.

It would be wise to release our agreements with that system and set up new agreements in the New Paradigm that are generative and life affirming. Especially agreements about how we communicate. This won’t just happen on its own. We need to be proactive and intentional if we want to move out of detrimental communications and behavior.

“I uproot my agreements to stay stuck in or comply with harmful communication patterns, flows and filters from the status quo.”

Make Some Corrections That Will Help You Communicate With Greater Moderation:

Let Go of Intentions You Don’t Need Anymore.

Check your old intentions with family, friends or business relationships that interfere with your ability to communicate more effectively. Release dishonest or extreme forms of communication like lying, coercion, cruelty, sarcasm, lashing out, intimidation or hypocrisy. Don’t forget criticism, condescension, people pleasing, mansplaining, micro-managing, martyrdom, stuffing or whining. These are all forms of manipulative communication that we’ve come to rely on, although they don’t help us move forward at all.

Think about communications you’ve received from old jobs or organizations you’ve been involved with over the years – religious institutions, political agendas, educational systems, ways of doing business, etc. You don’t have to hold space for all that confusing, conflicting information anymore!

“I let go of out-dated or harmful intentions about ___________.”

“I let go of harmful agendas that others want me to communicate.”

To replace them, consider carefully what new intentions would actually serve you now. Do they need to be clarified, simplified or re-organized? What do you need to have happen for yourself? “Based on my current needs, I need to _________.”

 

Make Decisions That Communicate Your Worth.

The decisions you make are an important part of the karma you create or are perpetuating. You can make significant changes by letting go of harmful or outdated decisions about yourself that compromise you or the integrity of your word. For example:

  1. The desire to fit in at any cost is one of the most fundamental ways people do harm to themselves. This desire can be so extreme, people often risk their wellbeing by deciding to leave themselves wide open to unscrupulous people who are willing to exploit them.
  2. The decision to hold space for other people or projects could also backfire because the psyche often takes what we say literally and actually tries to hold space or take possession of people, projects or goals that other people are actually responsible for. This is a common mistaken idea that inadvertently causes unnecessary anxiety, entanglements and power struggles.
  3. Another example is when we denigrate ourselves by deciding that we’re failures, inadequate, etc. Habitual negative decisions have consequences, especially if they become identities.

Instead of perpetuating that kind of karma, try some of these suggestions or come up with some new decisions of your own:

“I decide to communicate with self-respect and dignity. I am an intelligent, successful communicator.  I value my thoughts, words and deeds.”

“I decide to let go of holding space for other people’s issues, communications or harmful actions.” 

“I decide to let go of extremes. I now communicate in a balanced, moderate way,  based on inner guidance and self-worth.”

“I decide to __________. I communicate with moderation in the New Paradigm.”

“My honest, heartfelt communications have beneficial effects.”

 

Straighten Out Your Karma.

In times of increased confusion and chaos, it’s common for people who want to avoid responsibility to systemically unload their problems and karma onto whoever will accept them.

If you’ve been trained to feel anxious or sympathetic when other people are having a hard time, you might trap yourself by taking on more than your own karma. You can clarify this with the next Circle by asking these questions:

“What is my karma in this situation? What am I actually responsible for? How can I set things right in a way that’s genuinely helpful?”

“I let go of my karmic tendency to take on other people’s karma.
I am clear about what karma is mine and what karma belongs to others.
I let go of the temptation to repeat unpreferred karmic patterns.”

“I utilize my own beneficial karma to communicate _______________.”

 

Detach from Toxic Entanglements.

When we try to handle other peoples karma for them, we are inadvertently complicating things by preventing things from working themselves out naturally. To help you avoid this trap and set things right, use this symbol with the affirmations to release attachments to survival patterns from the past:

“I let go of attachments or obligations to unhealthy forms of communication.”
“I detach from fearful, sticky or toxic energies.”

Can Emotional Stress Affect Your Memory?

Especially when the stakes are high, you need to remember the important things. However, people often times have memory problems when they’re under a lot of emotional stress, especially if they’re highly sensitive. Why is that and what can be done to help?

Emotional Stress If this sounds like you, you are probably overwhelmed by the uncertainty and ungrounded by the sheer amount of information that you feel you have to process. You might be having experiences like the ones below. 

  • Processing difficult news 
  • Feeling weak or mentally exhausted
  • Disoriented due to grief or sudden loss
  • Picking up on other peoples pain
  • Noticing an increase in forgetfulness
  • Getting confused more easily than usual

How Are You Experiencing Disorientation?

1. We’re going to look at several possible reasons why emotional stress might be affecting your memory. One reason could be that you are disoriented due to a sudden recent change. You might also be picking up on other people’s stress. Another possibility could be that your mind has been exposed to an overwhelming amount of information. It helps to be aware of what is involved.

Let this Circle help you gather up any important information involved. Your unconscious mind knows what’s pertinent and what’s not.

You might want to jot down any impressions you notice. However, don’t be surprised if nothing definite comes to you. There may not be any words because the unconscious mind is not linear. 

Just make note of what your experience is for now.

 

What is a Clear Intention That will Help?

2. To help bring your mind into focus, establish a simple and clear intention for this exercise.

“I improve mental acuity and brain function.”

Go ahead and meditate on the center open space of this chart with that intention in mind. Breathe deeply and relax. Don’t try to make anything happen. A relaxed mind will lead you to a more relaxed body!

When the energy of the chart slows down, you’re ready to move onto the next step.

3. The pineal gland is an important part of your brain because of its main function of regulating light and darkness through its production and secretion of melatonin. In addition, the pineal contains light-sensitive cells that control your equilibrium through the circadian cycle of sleep and wakefulness.
Melatonin also supports healthy memory function and reproductive cycles.

Relax and breathe for a minute or two and let this Chakra Key help you clear toxins from your pineal gland so that your natural rhythms and cycles can come into better balance.

4. The hypothalamus is a part of your brain that regulates homeostasis. Through it, you have the ability to maintain inner balance and a calm state of mind. It also regulates a variety of functions including your physical development, digestive health and metabolism.

5. The hippocampus is actually two structures located on either side of the temporal lobe that are involved with memory development, verbal, spacial and directional skills.

Repeat what you just did in the previous steps. Relax and breathe while you gaze at this Chakra Key to clear out toxins and bring both areas of your hippocampus into balance.

Once you’ve really relaxed with it, check in with a question:

“Is there something I’ve forgotten that’s important? More than one?”

Make a note of it and continue with your mind exercise.

Emotional Stress and the Third Eye6. There’s another part of your brain function that taps into the wisdom of your Soul. Some call it the Third Eye Chakra. Through it, the pineal, hippocampus and hypothalamus can connect and work together to enhance learning and create coherent thoughts. Intuition and common sense can then blossom and communicate meaningful insights to your Heart Center.

Keep relaxed and gaze softly at the Circle with each affirmation:

“My common sense and intuition are working together.”

“I receive meaningful insights about my situation.”
“My mind helps me to reduce stress and integrate joy into my life.”

 

What Needs to Get Connected?

7. Keep relaxed and gaze softly at the Circle with each affirmation:

“My mind is connected and balanced to create improved mental acuity and brain function.”

“I improve my comprehension and understanding.”

What Would Support You?

8. It’s possible that you’re dehydrated or not getting the right nutrition. While you gently focus on this Circle, ask yourself:

“Is there something I could eat or drink that would help me?”
“Is there something I’m eating or drinking too much of?”

9. If there is, let this Circle help you open up and let it go.

Just keep letting go and release all that emotional stress. See yourself relaxing under an afternoon Sun. Take all the time you like. It’s okay to let go and rest.

10. Is there something that you could do to help your mental emotional stress?
Is there something it would be best to stop doing?
Use this Circle to consider actions you could take that would help in this situation. Make sure they would be genuinely helpful to you now.

11. It could be that things are just moving too fast and your mind is trying to keep up. Take a moment to slow down and tune into your Heart Center. Ask yourself:

“What is my heart telling me?”
“Am I worried about something (physical, financial, family issue, etc)?”

“What have I been doing? Has that helped?”
“What do I feel?”

 

How Will Life Be Better Without This Emotional Stress?

12. Your physical body is the foundation for your vitality and your instinct to take care of yourself. Clearing energy, especially in your lower body, will give you strength and support to make necessary changes. Put both feet on the floor to help you ground. Take whatever time you need.

Once you feel stronger, ask yourself:

“What, if anything, am I forgetting about my physical health?
“Is there something I need to remember?”

There’s always more than one way to do things, what new way comes to mind in this case?

 

What Would Keep You Grounded?

13. A strong connection to the Earth gives you support to make the necessary changes and stay balanced at the same time. Put both feet on the floor to help you ground.
If needed, go back to Step 7 and connect with your other chakras.
Take whatever time you need.  

“What do I need to remember?”
“Do I need to change anything?”
“Do I have the connections and resources I need to resolve this stress?”
“What would be involved? Is anything missing?”

 

Ask For Blessings On Your Life Path.

14. Finish by balancing out your Life Path Chakras. They help you stay on your own path and tune into the promptings of your Soul – a very important thing to remember!

“I open up to my potential and stay positive.”

“I stay true to my Soul’s path.”

You may want to sit with this for quite a while.
Plan to take a walk or relax for a bit out in Nature once you feel ready.

Come From a Grounded Place

How to ADAPT and Come From a Grounded Place in the New Paradigm ~

Many of us are aware that how we experience our environment has a lot to do with how well we’re feeling and how easy or difficult it is to come from a grounded place. That’s especially so when we need to communicate or move forward in a genuinely productive way! The energy of the Cosmos has changed radically and we are being called to ADAPT to a New Paradigm based on common ground.

The purpose of this Mind Exercise is to activate the beneficial energies of the New Paradigm in your environment. Connecting with these energies will help you organize effectively and from a grounded place.

If you’ve noticed any of the following situations in your environment, try this exercise from Navigating Compassion Fatigue, an online resource from our Soul Oriented Solutions series –

If you feel like you or your environment are:

  • Ungrounded or scattered
  • Overwhelmed by too much stuff
  • Disorganized and confused
  • Unstable, unsafe or explosive
  • Juggling too many things
  • Unproductive – going around in circles
  • A magnet attracting negative energies.

Directions: Confirm this is the best formula for you with the SOS Symbol.

Find a quiet place to sit in the center of your space, where you won’t be disturbed for about twenty minutes. Make sure both of your feet are firmly planted on the floor and that the soles of your shoes wouldn’t prevent you from grounding well.

Begin by meditating on this symbol that will help you organize your mind around the structure for Creating Common Ground.

Come from a Grounded Place

Then, go through the exercise by reading each message and then gazing gently at the Circle or chart that goes with it for a minute or so. A longer or shorter time may be necessary. Let yourself breathe and relax as much as possible. Don’t worry if the images move around or change in any way. That just means the Circles are working to help you and your environment to come into balance with each other and ground.

Some emotions may come up and when that happens always visualize the heaviness moving up, out and towards the Light.

You may intuitively feel that an object in the space should be moved or removed completely. Trust your instincts. Give yourself permission to let go of anything that could keep you stuck in the old paradigm.

It helps to know that there are new channels of life force available in the New Paradigm that will help us ADAPT.

Come From a Grounded Place
Divine Protection

Keep this symbol handy to help you open up to generative life force and close down life-destructive energy channels from the past. That integration also includes new communication channels that will help us connect with each other in far more life affirming ways.

By contemplating the symbol, you’ll find that you’ll be able to intentionally close down harmful channels and open up to the generative life force (chi) that we look for in Feng Shui.

In Chinese, Feng Shui means “wind water”. These are the two elements that move energy for creating life when they’re in balance. When they’re out of balance, they can create all kinds of destructive energy patterns – sudden reversals, poltergeists, collapses in protection and stagnation – just to name a few. 

Needless to say, transitioning out of the energy channels of the Piscean Age (water) into the new energy channels of the Aquarian Age (air) has been causing quite a bit of instability for everyone.

The bottom line is – the sooner we can come from a grounded place in the New Paradigm based on common ground, the better!

2. Take some more time to breathe deeply.
 Pay special attention to those places in your body where you’re feeling pain or discomfort. 
Consciously send your breath to those places and let them relax.
Stretch if you need to. Open and close your hands. Notice the time and the space around you.

3. Ask for peace and harmony to come into your heart and awareness.

Consciously move your energy out of your head and pull it down into your heart and solar plexus area.

Once you feel the shift, close down harmful energy channels again. The more relaxed you are, the better this works.

 

Intuition

4. Connect with your instinctual nature.
Use the Dragonfly Circle to help you tune into your gut instincts so that you can reconnect and improve your relationship with your environment.

Divine Protection

Do you get instinctual messages or intuitive hits about certain areas in the space around you?
Could there be an object that’s holding old energy or keeping you grounded in past unhappiness?

5. Let go of the need to be perfect, having to sacrifice or be everything for everyone. Include intentions that were helpful at one time and are no longer useful.
Could you be holding onto something that doesn’t belong to you or leaving yourself open to a problem that’s not yours to fix?
You are responsible for yourself and only your part of the situation. What is your part?

What makes sense to do? What would be genuinely helpful in this situation?
Resolve to let any misguided intentions go, like old smoke disappearing into the Light.

 

Nourishment

6. Make sure that you’re accessing the most beneficial energies to support you and your environment.
You may notice that some directions hold more auspicious energies for you than others.

Shut down any energy channels that are irrelevant or distracting you with Divine Protection.

 

Empowerment

7. To ground in the New Paradigm effectively, you need a strong connection to your spiritual Source. You need to be able to take good care of yourself and willing to ask for help. Bring your attention back to your heart and listen to it beating – nice and steady. Affirm to yourself:

“I exist and am empowered through the connection in my Heart.”

“I take good care of myself and am willing to ask for help.”

“I connect with my environment through Joy and Gratitude.”

Take all the time you need with this.

 

Disappointment

8. Pull your energy back and out of disappointing experiences.
Use this Circle to help you stop tapping into harmful or destructive energies that don’t support you and that bring chaos into your environment.

Shut down any remaining energy channels that are irrelevant or distracting you with Divine Protection.

 

Coherence

9. It’s time to focus your energy on getting grounded. When are grounded, you are not only taking good care of yourself, you also have a positive effect on those around you.

“I pull myself together and get grounded in the New Paradigm.”

 

Self-care

10. Is there anything else you need to do to help yourself?
Does anything else need to happen in your environment so you can come from a grounded place?

Make a list so you can remember.

 

Change

11. Do you have old agreements or assumptions you need to change? You can find them by examining your life and asking yourself:

“What’s been working and what hasn’t been working?”

Are you willing to let go of things that are not working? Release any agreements to hold on.
“I’m willing and able to let go and make the changes necessary for me now.”

12. Keep looking at the Circle while you relax and think of something that you love very much.

What are the main reasons a person may need overwhelm help?

The first reason would be that there’s simply too much information coming at the person and their mind is not able to filter priorities properly.

Overwhelm Help #1 - Too much information

The second reason would be that the person has placed too much of their  attention and energy on a certain problem or goal that is unrealistic or cannot be accomplished under the current circumstances.

Overwhelm Help #2 - Unrealistic expectations

The third reason why a person would need overwhelm help would be that the way forward has become obscured. The circumstances are dark, dim, unclear or hard to understand.

Overwhelm Help #3 - Future is unclear

The fourth reason could be that the environment has become too toxic or chaotic for a person to be able to cope in the way that they normally would.

Overwhelm Help #4 - Toxic, chaotic environment

All of these reasons have a negative effect on your physical health and can put stress on your mental / emotional health as well.

Unfortunately, people are becoming more and more overwhelmed by sudden emotional or environmental changes, toxic entanglements or triggered PTSD episodes.

A person needing overwhelm help could experience:

  • Sudden and extreme exhaustion.
  • Fight or flight panic attacks.
  • Unexplained feelings of emergency; anxiety, depression and fear.
  • Increased irritation and susceptibility to illnesses, viruses or colds.

It’s not a good idea to remain in a fight or flight state for long. When a person is in a chronic state of overwhelm, the stage is set for depression, illness or paranoia to set in. If these symptoms are already present, the person may experience an overload or energy collapse.

Helpful Tips

It’s important to take plenty of time with each question and continually breathe with full breaths. Shallow breathing inhibits the healing process and taking plenty of time counteracts the feeling of emergency.

In just a few minutes a person can get reconnected so that their energy feels balanced again. Cognitive function improves, negativity is dispelled and hope can return!

A Soul Oriented Solutions Formula: Self-care for Grief ~

Many people are experiencing deep levels of grief and mourning over events happening both near and far. Feelings of anxiousness, distress and even PTSD can come on suddenly and be very overwhelming. What are some things that can bring some relief and self-care for grief?

This brief exercise from RESOLVE uses affirmations and the Intuitive Learning Circles to quickly help you when you are:

  • Grieving
  • Recovering from abuse – past or present
  • Dealing with a serious or long-term illness
  • Preparing for surgery
  • Coming to terms with tragedy, loss or death.

Here’s an example of how the Circles can help you relax:

“I bring my senses into balance.”

“I focus them so that I can feel calmer and more aware of what’s important.”

“I use them to help me be more aware of where I am and what I’m doing.”

“I focus on thoughts and actions that are in my best interest.”

 

You may feel as though your energy is being drained right out of you. Relax and gaze softly at this Circle. Let it help you close the drains in your heart.

Feel free to move at anytime in any way to help you embody your experience!


When you’re ready, you can begin self-care for grief by allowing this Soul Prayer Chart to help you reclaim your connection to Creator and Soul through your heart center. It can help to put both feet flat on the floor and place your hands on your heart with this symbol. Simply gaze softly at the image while you contemplate the positive affirmation that goes with it for for a minute or so. Relax and breathe. Here’s some suggestions:

“I reclaim my power and fill my heart with courage, faith and determination.”

Strong emotions or insights may come up. The image may move, rotate, vibrate or change color. Don’t worry. That happens sometimes. It just means they are working to help you feel better. Once the energy calms down a bit, you can move on to the remaining Circles with each of their affirmations to complete the process.

You might want to journal some of your thoughts so that you can speak with a trusted counselor or friend about what comes up. If so, get out some paper and something to write with as you go through the steps.


Step One: Asking for Help

Breathe in deeply, all the way to your belly while you look at this Circle and then exhale. Breathe in through your nose, if you can. Do that several times.

If you could ask for something that would help you feel better, what would that be?

 

Step Two – Support

Imagine that you can bring healing and release into all parts of your body, mind and spirit while you continue to breathe and gaze softly with this next symbol.

Step Three ~ Peace

What do you think is the main difficulty or burden you’re dealing with right now?
Are you ready to let go of that burden and find a solution? 
If not, why not? Be sure to respect your process.

 

 

Step Four – Release

Where are you holding tension?

You can release the tension around anything that’s bothering you right now. Your shoulders are dropped. Your jaw is relaxed. Rub them if you like. Keep melting the tension until it’s all gone.

 

Step Five – Soul Vision

Consider what your Soul would tell you about this situation. Connect with the Love that comes from within as much as you are able to. Allow your heart to open to it.

 

Step Six – Remove Your Burdens

Imagine that you can send all those burdens to where ever they need to go to resolve themselves. Imagine the heaviness lifting up and off of you.

You have done the best that you can under the circumstances.

 

Step Six – Rebalance

Breathe again.
Feel a calmness coming over you.
You feel calmer and calmer with every breath.

 

Step Seven – Cleansing

Send away any illness or pain that you’re experiencing. Send it to the Sun or wherever it needs to go to heal.

 

Step Eight – Faith

Fill yourself with strength and the knowledge that you are loved. 

 

 Let yourself rest now. You might feel tired or sad. That’s okay. It means that you’re feeling safe enough to really let go and rest.

Closure for Mind Body Healing

Some people have gotten extra support out of going through this self-care for grief exercise every day for twenty-one days. It helps to retrain your mind to think more positively and keep you on track toward your full recovery.
