Stingray medicine is about protection and the importance of maintaining healthy boundaries if you want to live in wholeness and integrity. For example, if you’re a people pleaser, it may be that you’re so used to multiple energies hanging around that you don’t realize they’re not you! Regardless of why they’re there, it’s best to move them out of your field as soon as possible. 

To solve your dilemma, return to the source of your true nature and connect with gratitude.

Ask yourself a few honest questions: Do you tend to take on other people’s energy in order to get along with them better? Do other people often take advantage of you? What would happen if you could say “no” without guilt or excuses? Do you feel pulled this way and that?

Examine your intentions and see if they line up with what’s actually happening. If you’re confused by what you see, that immediately explains why things have not been going the way you’ve wanted them to. Clear intentions get clear results. 

Look into the middle of Stingray’s Circle and ask: “What is my intention?” Wait for a clear answer to come back. Then ask, “Is my energy matching up with that intention?”

If your intention is unclear, ask your heart, “How can I properly communicate what I want? Do I have my free will?”

To make a correction in your energy, keep affirming your intention in the present tense while gazing at the Circle. You may be guided to other Helpers or processes to shift your energy and ground firmly in your intention.

When you send a clear and unified message, there can be no confusion about what you intend to do. If someone is interfering with your intentions, visualize a Ring of Fire around you for protection and then suggest an alternate path for them to take.

You have activated your spiritual will and are now moving toward a higher purpose for you and your world. You’re ready to go beyond the extreme “either/or” mentality and graduate to the “and” consciousness of balance and unity.

You’re beginning to understand that things are not either black or white, good or bad – swinging from one extreme to the other. They exist together in the vast continuum of all that exists between Heaven and Earth.

The critical mind may object, often very loudly, however you now recognize that the ego is not to be trusted when it comes to matters of integrity and/or personal power. These are significant blocks that have hindered inner transformation up until this point. If you ignore them, your energy will be drawn back into feeding negativity and fear.

If you are dealing with your shadow side and healing disloyalty, shed any lies that you may have been telling yourself. These lies come in the form of extremes, denial, jealousy, judgment or vengeance, which have created imbalance and illness within you.

Shamans often refer to this kind of healing as “uncrossing your path”, and the truth is, we always do it to ourselves, usually by following someone else’s path, rather than our own. Successfully making this transition into Unity and Love will expand the possibilities regarding where you can go.

See yourself and your situation as they really are. In that way you will rid yourself of indecision and move forward into your higher good.

Are You Changing with the Changes?

If you’re like most of us, you’re overwhelmed by the speed and amount of  alarming changes that are taking place. So much of what used to be “normal” is gone. One moment, life seems to be moving along okay and then, in a flash, conditions have completely changed! What do we need to learn to know how to change with all these changes?

Learning How To ChangeWhether you’re feeling anxious about the increase in violent behavior, health challenges, finances, the environment, relationships or your work situation – the underlying matrix of cultural relations is falling away and new lines of communication need to be constructed. We are all being called upon to find new ways to organize our thoughts and behaviors.

It’s no wonder that so many of us are feeling emotionally drained and anxious. Under these conditions, it’s easy to bounce between impatience, denial and helplessness about what’s actually happening around us. Our attention is getting pulled this way and that. Our bodies are worn out and our hearts and minds are split in a hundred directions!   

The 64 Hexagrams in the I Ching or Book of Change have much to teach us about the importance of being flexible and knowing how to change. 

For example, Hexagram #49 CHANGING says:
“The forces at work in the situation are in conflict, leaving the path open to change. Yet the work of bringing about such a change is as difficult as it is important… Clarity, forethought, and great devotion are now required to achieve your purpose.”

In Hexagram #29 DANGER, Line 5 says: “Take the simple and direct approach to solving your problems and over coming difficulties. Strive for clarity of mind. Do not clutter your actions with useless pretense, since it will only confuse the situation.”

In Hexagram #6 CONFLICT, the ancient text states: “At a time when social unity is most important, it is significantly lacking. There are misunderstandings brought about by basic philosophical differences and they cannot be overcome by forceful measures… This CONFLICT will cause you to stop and reconsider your original premise.”

Hexagram #38 CONTRADICTION leaves us with this advice: “Your best course of action now is to affirm friendly relations. Avoid being drawn into any questionable schemes. Do not make a grab for position. Use the existing polarity to emphasize the need for more co-operative conditions or for far-sighted differentiations.” ~ The I Ching Workbook, by R.L. Wing

Transformation Game: Learning How To Change in a Changing World.

You can discover how to change more gracefully while keeping your integrity by going through this Transformation Game. When you slow down and take the time to go within, you gain a deeper understanding of what you’re really struggling with. Not only that, you can find the motivation to change how you’re responding in a more effective way!

Directions: Simply gaze at the Circle while contemplating the positive affirmations. Breathe deeply and allow yourself to relax as much as possible.

“I reclaim and balance my rational senses.”

“I focus them to be present and keep tuning into my body to determine what I need.”

“I utilize them to notice my environment so I can respond appropriately.”

“I use them to find solutions, opportunities and innovations that will help me adapt to the changes.”

“I focus on actions that benefit my health, happiness and _________.”

 

You might also be having a difficult time adjusting to all the significant environmental changes that are taking place. Sudden reversals, blockages and changes in momentum can cause our subtle energy fields to react in unusual ways.

This Correction Key can help you correct any rough glitches or reversals that you may be experiencing.
Relax with it for a few minutes until things smooth out and you can begin to feel your Soul coming through.

 


An important note about Mind Body Integration ~ 

Retrain Your Mind for Mind Body IntegrationThe brain and body communicate through different channels when a part of you is crossed over the center of your body. As you work with the Circles, cross and uncross a hand or foot over the midline of your body. Use a soft focus and breathe patiently. This will help you access more information from your unconscious mind. Let any negative self-talk go by breathing through it.

Feel free to move at anytime in any way to help you let go!


Once you feel ready, see if you can slow down and let yourself focus on your  priorities. Ask for true spiritual guidance that comes from within.

“I slow down and breathe while I turn my attention to what matters most.”

Gently, notice the specific aspects of your life that are changing rapidly and need some extra help.
Next, notice if you have aspects that feel stuck, closed off or even going in reverse.
How would you describe these things?
You might want to get out a pen and paper to make note of some of the impressions you get.

Contemplate the medicine from Butterfly for a moment or two:

“I ask my Inner Wisdom for assistance about what needs to change and how to do it in the most positive way.”

What needs to happen?

 

Bring your attention to the center of your chest. Let your heart be involved in this conversation. Are you willing to listen?

 

Empower your ability to choose in this situation.

“I exist and what I do matters.”
“I can respond to this situation in a productive and helpful way.”

“I bring myself into alignment with my highest good.”

 

Now you’re ready to go through the rest of the game in the same way by asking yourself questions while you gaze softly at each accompanying Circle. Doing so will help you assess where you’re at.

Take your time, the answers might not come right away. The Circles are helping your mind to clear away mental and emotional resistance to change.

“In this particular situation, how am I dealing with change?

Is that working for me? Is there something I need to change about how I’m dealing with the situation? Am I doing the best I can?”

Am I stuck on something? Shut down? Unwilling? Is it possible that I’m being too hard on myself? What is the concern?”

 

If you’re stuck, you might be able to deal with it fairly easily by using Condor Medicine to clear conflict, resistance and fixated thinking.  

Imagine that you can use the Circle like a bull’s eye to send healing energy to any conflicts or fixations you may be experiencing. Let go by imagining that the lines are going all limp and loose like spaghetti noodles. Or, you can imagine an iceberg melting away under the Sun.

Either way, be gentle with yourself. If you’re judging yourself too harshly, use the Circle to help you loosen up those rigid thoughts. If you’re shut down, use the Circle to bring your energy back to life! If you need to open up to creativity or dissolve toxic emotions, see yourself doing that.
Move around and stretch in any way that you like.

 

Continue with your investigation about how to change…

“Am I holding onto past experiences that are no longer relevant?”

You can usually tell if you’re internalizing something because you’ll start to feel physical, mental, emotional or even spiritual irritation. If that’s happening, see if you can stop taking it personally and let it go.
“I surrender these old experiences to the Light and turn to more proactive ways of dealing with change.”

 

There is no doubt that what we’re going through is hard. The best thing we can do in difficult situations is to think about what we can learn from them.
“The most important take away for me in this situation is ________.”
“I am learning ____________.”
Be sure to write this down.

For a much deeper integration, trace around the Circle clockwise with your eyes, while you consider your take away thought.

Then, do the same as you trace your eyes around the square in the same direction, both crossed and uncrossed.

How To Change our Experiences – Choose New Ingredients

If we keep choosing ingredients from the past, the soup we call our lives will keep repeating itself over and over.  For example, if we were born into a family that keeps choosing shame or blame, we will be liable to keep choosing those ingredients ourselves until we can become conscious of what we’re doing. If we want to change the flavor of our soup, it will help to change the ingredients we’re using!

By choosing ingredients such as self-worth, self-love or self-confidence we can learn how to change and create a better future.

The Essential Human*Note: if you have an updated copy of The Essential Human, you might want to go through Future Pacing (on page 140). Choose from the archetypes #1 – 42 to help you choose beneficial “ingredients” for creating your life. Ask yourself:
“What ingredients am I choosing? Are there some ingredients that I would like to change?”

“I release harmful ingredients and access beneficial ingredients instead.”

 

One important new ingredient is the generative flow of chi’ that’s available to help us move with the quicker, lighter Element of Air. Use this symbol to help you access it.

“I close down all harmful energy channels.”
“My mind and body are open to receive generative life force.” 

“I connect with generative channels of communication in this new environment.”

 

New Agreements

Next, imagine that you can release any old agreements, assumptions or obligations that are keeping you stuck. Visualize them like contracts, burning up into nothingness with a violet flame. Here are some suggestions:

“I let go of outdated agreements that keep me stuck in old patterns or to take on someone else’s issues or emotions as my own.”

“I let go of being controlled by emotions or external manipulations.”

“I am willing to change when needed and let go of anyone or anything that is causing me harm.”

“I let go of my resistance to ________. I detach from ________. I remove myself from ________.” Etc.

“I maintain my inner balance and stability.”

 

New Decisions

Make some new decisions that support how to change more appropriately. Here are some suggestions:

“I decide to see this situation in a positive light.” or…
I am capable and my Spirit helps me to handle change…
I am free to change in accordance with my highest good…
I allow other people the space to handle their own issues…”, etc.

“I decide to __________ and _______________,”

 

Renewed Presence

Connect with the Third Chakra at your Solar Plexus and let it open up. Relax and let the tightness go. Deep breathing and presence are your best friends in times of accelerated change! Move around or stretch again if you like.

 

Courage and Confidence

Keep breathing and give yourself a good dose of courage with the help of Jaguar Medicine:

“I surround myself with courage, confidence and strength.”

 

Seed Medicine can help you find any karmic seeds you may be holding that are causing you harm. They might not even be yours! It’s time to set things right. Send them to the Light so they can return to wherever they belong.

Reclaim whatever is yours – your ideas, your power, your own beneficial seeds of karma. Bring them home and nurture them gently.

 

Now it’s time to dissolve your connection to any underlying abuse, confusion or conflict. Use this symbol for Dissolving Destructive Blueprints and allow the Light to dissolve and lift them off of you.

“I let go of the mental, emotional and spiritual connections I still have to harmful patterns.”

Take your time and visualize them disappearing like dark clouds into the Light!

Please note: Never send destructive energies into the Earth, she already has too much to handle now. Use the Earth for planting seeds of happiness and life – not unhappiness and death!

 

Considering what you’ve learned from this situation, you may have made some decisions about certain situations that you want to close the door on. Use this Circle to seal and heal all leaks, holes or pathways that lead to back to any resistance or unnecessary suffering:

“All holes are sealed and healed.” 
“I follow the direction of my Soul’s protection.”

Imagine that your mind is like a computer where you can close all the tabs and windows that have been open for far too long!

 

Are you grounded in the New Paradigm of cooperation and balanced prosperity? If not, put your feet flat on the ground and let your energy organize around it now.

It’s rarely easy to make changes of this magnitude, but once you know how to change with the changes rather than fighting against them, your situation is bound to improve! The I Ching leaves you with this thought:

Many people are experiencing deep levels of grief and mourning over events happening both near and far. Feelings of anxiousness, distress and even PTSD can come on suddenly and be very overwhelming. What are some things that can bring some relief and self-care for grief?

This brief exercise from RESOLVE uses affirmations and the Intuitive Learning Circles to quickly help you when you are:

  • Grieving
  • Recovering from abuse – past or present
  • Dealing with a serious or long-term illness
  • Preparing for surgery
  • Coming to terms with tragedy, loss or death.

Here’s an example of how the Circles can help you relax:

“I bring my senses into balance.”

“I focus them so that I can feel calmer and more aware of what’s important.”

“I use them to help me be more aware of where I am and what I’m doing.”

“I focus on thoughts and actions that are in my best interest.”

When you’re ready, you can begin self-care for grief by allowing this Soul Prayer Chart to help you reclaim your connection to Creator and Soul through your heart center. It can help to put both feet flat on the floor and place your hands on your heart with this symbol. Simply gaze softly at the image while you contemplate the positive affirmation that goes with it for for a minute or so. Relax and breathe. Here’s some suggestions:

“I reclaim my power and fill my heart with courage, faith and determination.”

Strong emotions or insights may come up. The image may move, rotate, vibrate or change color. Don’t worry. That happens sometimes. It just means they are working to help you feel better. Once the energy calms down a bit, you can move on to the remaining Circles with each of their affirmations to complete the process.

You might want to journal some of your thoughts so that you can speak with a trusted counselor or friend about what comes up. If so, get out some paper and something to write with as you go through the steps.


Step One: Asking for Help

Breathe in deeply, all the way to your belly while you look at this Circle and then exhale. Breathe in through your nose, if you can. Do that several times.

If you could ask for something that would help you feel better, what would that be?

 

Step Two – Support

Imagine that you can bring healing and release into all parts of your body, mind and spirit while you continue to breathe and gaze softly with this next symbol.

Step Three ~ Peace

What do you think is the main difficulty or burden you’re dealing with right now?
Are you ready to let go of that burden and find a solution?

Where are you holding tension?

You can release the tension around anything that’s bothering you right now. Your shoulders are dropped. Your jaw is relaxed. Rub them if you like. Keep melting the tension until it’s all gone.

 

Step Five – Soul Vision

Consider what your Soul would tell you about this situation. Connect with the Love that comes from within as much as you are able to. Allow your heart to open to it.

 

Step Six – Remove Your Burdens

Imagine that you can send all those burdens to where ever they need to go to resolve themselves. Imagine the heaviness lifting up and off of you.

You have done the best that you can under the circumstances.

 

Step Six – Rebalance

Breathe again.
Feel a calmness coming over you.
You feel calmer and calmer with every breath.

 

Step Seven – Cleansing

Send away any illness or pain that you’re experiencing. Send it to the Sun or wherever it needs to go to heal.

 

Step Eight – Faith

Fill yourself with strength and the knowledge that you are loved. 

 

 Let yourself rest now. You might feel tired or sad. That’s okay. It means that you’re feeling safe enough to really let go and rest.

Heartfelt Communication - Transformation GameHeartfelt communication is something many people say they would like and wonder why it’s so difficult to achieve. In the best of times it happens naturally by opening your heart and listening to its promptings.

Unfortunately, when life takes a difficult turn or tragedy happens, as it has for many of us, the heart and throat centers can shut down, leading us to feel cut off and at a loss for words. Repeated trauma and other violations of the spirit take their toll. Perhaps it’s the shock of disappointment or the panic one feels when the world gets turned upside down.

Opening up again may take time and some extra encouragement, especially for introverted, shy or highly sensitive people. Yet, with a little help, your heart can heal and your throat can relax again.

By practicing heartfelt communication with yourself first, you strengthen your intuition, which is like having an inner guidance system. When you go one step further and act on your intuition, you can:

  • Re-examine your relationship with yourself and the world
  • Reclaim an inner peace that helps you remain objective
  • Recalibrate your ability to express your truth
  • Renew the connection between your throat and your heart.
  • Resource new ways to nurture cooperation and appreciation

In the New Paradigm there are new channels of protection and communication that we can learn to utilize for our benefit.

The transition out of the Water based Piscean Age into the lighter, quicker energy of the Aquarian Age (Air) has contributed to quite a few challenges. Most people are experiencing including breakdowns in communication and a general atmosphere of instability.

As you go through the exercise, utilize the Divine Protection Chart to access the generative energy flow of the New Paradigm. Let it help you organize your communication and give it the lift and lightness needed to be successful.

By contemplating the symbol, you’ll be able to intentionally close down harmful channels and open up to the generative life force (chi) that is available through the Element of Air. Gaze softly at the symbol with these positive affirmations:

“Any stagnant, heavy or destructive energy flows from the past are closing down now – in my mind, my body and my communications.”

Integrating with this new channel will help us connect with each other in far more generative and life affirming ways.

“I am open to receiving generative life force through the Element of Air.”
“I now communicate using the lighter, quicker energy of Air.”

Heartfelt Communication: A Mind Exercise using Animal Totems from the Intuitive Learning Circle method.

Many cultures claim that messages from the animal world inform and offer us guidance – a very special kind of “medicine.” The Intuitive Learning Circles use messages from animals and nature to facilitate your learning and access inner peace.

For example, Monkey Medicine is about calming angry or critical thoughts that are causing trouble in your communications and life. In today’s world,  many conversations have no intention of creating any kind of common ground and are merely an opportunity to criticize or pick a fight. Monkey can warn you if you’re about to engage in a hostile or manipulative communication.

Animal Totems - Heartfelt CommunicationGaze softly at Monkey’s Circle, and ask:
“Is there any real opportunity to make progress with this person or group?”

If the answer is “no,” you would be wise to stop now. Your time and energy is too valuable to be wasted in this way.

If your answer is “yes,” ask yourself honestly:

“Am I open to changing my perspective around this particular communication?”

If your answer is still “yes,” get out some paper and something to write with to make notes as you go through this exercise.

*For best results, place both feet on the ground and gaze gently at each Circle to receive your own message.


Let’s start by introducing you to the very first Intuitive Learning Circle from Gifts from the Rainforest.

Animal Spirits Medicine

  1. Animals are our partners in creating an abundant and peaceful life on our planet. By observing their behavior and the role they play in their environment, we can adapt to and make the most of the circumstances in our lives. This Intuitive Learning Circle helps us take ownership of how we use our energy to communicate. It also helps us to set things right by listening to the wisdom of our hearts.

Relax and breathe as you would in a state of meditation. Bring to mind a person or group  you would like to improve your communications with. When you gaze gently at the Circle, you can tune in and receive your own answers to the question:

“What do I really want to communicate to this person or group?” 

Take your time and write down what comes to you initially.

 

2. Because of the alarming amount of confusion and manipulative communications happening around us, we need to address the possibility that various aspects of your subtle energy system may be damaged by toxic attachments or karmic entanglements that would interfere with clear communication.

Use this Key to relax and meditate on for as long as you like. Like a healing balm, imagine that a loving coat of peace and comfort is pouring down over you.

“My energy system can effectively neutralize interfering energies and detach from them.”

“I easily let go of toxic attachments.”

 

3. When we’re under pressure to communicate, it’s not uncommon for the chakras and/or meridians to start running in reverse or shut down entirely. Relax and let this symbol help you make corrections to problems including reversals, deformations and misdirections.

“I repair any glitches, holes or blockages in my energy system.”

Continue breathing until you begin to sense the calming energy of your Soul coming through.

 

Butterfly Medicine

4. It’s always helpful if you can tap into positive energy that will assist you. If you continue to relax with the medicine of Butterfly, you may be able to utilize  beneficial energies from your environment to nourish a more successful and reciprocal outcome.

After all, what you put out comes back, so it’s worth it to take a few extra minutes to clarify what you want to put out!

Once you’ve lightened up a bit, gently bring your attention back to who you’re communicating with, what you want to communicate and how you might do that more effectively.

Electric Eel Medicine

5. The message of Electric Eel is about being coherent and grounded in the way we’re communicating. Use this medicine to scan your body and energy. Pay attention to any areas that feel muddled, blank or void when it comes to communicating with this person or group. Once you feel the inconsistency, Electric Eel will help you clear up the confusion and fill in the blank with positive energy and purpose.

It can also help you change the polarity of your throat and heart chakras so that they can realign with each other.

Note: This would be a good time to scroll back to the symbol at the beginning for Divine Protection to close down old energy channels and integrate that new energy channel before you continue.

 

River Medicine

6. Now that you’ve done all that, River Medicine can help you settle into a clearer perception of what you would like to say. Use the Circle to bring your senses into balance like the volume control on a radio.
Not too high, not too low – just right!
Bringing them into balance will support clear intuition by helping you to remain calm and perceive your situation the way it really is.

Now you can be more objective. Adjust the volume on your proposed communication. Take time to consider what’s really needed.
Does the volume need to be turn up or down? Does it need repetition? Something else?
Of course, there’s what you’d like and what’s actually possible.

Create a positive affirmation to guide you:
“In this situation, my communications are _________ and __________.”

 

Divine Connection

7. The next step is to empower your ability to express your needs and create a clear intention that you can follow through on. 

“I exist and am empowered through my heart and Soul.”
“I am empowered to take good care of myself and develop heartfelt communications that are life affirming, confident and cooperative.”

“I am empowered to release harmful intentions or interference.”
“I’m able to express myself clearly and keep healthy boundaries.”
Continue by making your own affirmations that apply to your intention:
“I am empowered to _____________.”

 

Jaguar Medicine

8. An important part of this exercise is to improve your confidence. Bring in Jaguar Medicine to surround yourself with a sphere of protection made of Light, strength and determination. 

Once you’ve visualized that both crossed and uncrossed, can you remember a time when you successfully communicated something similar? 

It was probably something you felt very confident about.

Take your time and remember what was important about it.

Is your current communication challenge also important to you? Do you care?
Why do you care? Why do you care about the person or group you’re communicating with now?
What is motivating you?
Is there something you’d like to change about that or add?

Hummingbird Medicine

9. Another reason to cultivate heartfelt communication is to increase your experience of joy, connection and positive service. Hummingbird is our guide for accessing harmony and joy. Use this medicine to help you remember more about your successful experience. What did you enjoy about it?
What was the most positive aspect?
Did you enjoy getting a positive response?
Would you enjoy getting a similar response with this communication?

Hummingbird also helps us distinguish the difference between cooperation and compromising one’s integrity. For example, people who enjoy being “nice” have problems with communications because that attitude often puts them in impossible positions. Another problem is trying to be everything to everyone.
Use the Circle to unwind yourself from agreements, attitudes or assumptions that cause problems in how you communicate.

Use these affirmations to help:
“I untangle myself from disrespectful lies, no win situations and extremes.”
“I am free to enjoy cooperative and truthful communications.”

 

Soul Color

10. Whenever you’re very happy or have successfully manifested a goal, you’re naturally using your Soul’s unique vibration or color.  Use the Soul Color chart to see if a particular color comes to mind for your successful communication. Relax for a minute or so to find it and strengthen your resonance with it. 

“I recognize my Soul’s unique color vibration and strengthen it to enhance my confidence and communication.”

When you’re ready, ask what kind of message your Soul would like to give and receive in this case.
What would be your Soul’s purpose in having this communication?
Would you be happy with that message?
Take your time and sift through the pros and cons of your proposed communication. Continue to make notes.

 

Dissolving Destructive Blueprints

11. You’ve probably gathered up a lot of old mental, emotional or spiritual patterns that contributed to misguided, confusing or ineffective communication in the past. This would be a good time to let them go.

Use this symbol to help you find and Dissolve Destructive Blueprints. See them like dark clouds, dissipating into the pure light of the Sun.

“I dissolve destructive patterns for harmful communication
and any connection I have ever had to them.”

“I release any grief, loneliness, frustration, anxiety or __________
that would interfere with heartfelt communication.”


Please note: Never send destructive energies into the Earth, she already has too much to handle now. Use the Earth for planting seeds of happiness and life – not death!

 

Piranha Medicine

12. Piranha is about spiritual direction and protection. Use the Circle to close the doors to all the myriad pathways in your mind that would lead you back into dangerous, confusing or ineffective communications.

“I close the doors to any harmful, confusing or manipulative communications.”

“I follow the direction of my Soul’s protection.”

 

Heart Chakra Key

Now it’s time to integrate your communication with the Heart Chakra Key. Bring your attention to your heart center and allow the energy there to gently radiate out, like a star!

Can you imagine incorporating compassion, caring, self-respect and respect for others into the essence of your communication? If so, you’re ready to refine your message.

If not, what do you think you need?
Make a note of what comes up so that you don’t forget.

 

Starlight Medicine

Starlight aligns our individual consciousness with Universal Truth to achieve clarity and order. This medicine integrates conscious awareness, compassionate action and alignment with “true north” – the direction of your spirit.

It also helps you get more present in your body. Imagine that you can bring your Soul’s energy into the center area of your chest.

Once you feel more present in your heart center, contemplate what you originally wrote down.
Is this really what you want to communicate?
Are you clear who you want to communicate this message to?
Do you think that this message, as it is, will evoke the response you’re really looking for?
Is there a more effective message to send?

 

Sky Medicine

Finish now with Sky Medicine and allow it to help confirm a joyful message that is heartfelt and you really want to communicate.
That way, your words are bound to have a more desirable impact.

“What I really want to say to ________ is ____________________________.”

Once you’ve got the main message, see if you can refine the details about who, what, how, when, where and why.

Resolving Shock During Traumatic Events

This self-care formula uses the Intuitive Learning Circle method for resolving shock when your life has been upended and you are:

  • Feeling scattered, surprised, scared or vulnerable
  • Reliving painful experiences

SOS- Resolving Shock from Traumatic EventsAny person involved in a traumatic event could experience disorientation, numbness, mental confusion or fragmentation. They might even get stuck in the energy of the trauma. This includes people who are witness to traumatic experiences in some way. 

Sometimes people who’ve experienced a shocking event will tell you that they’re fine and not to worry about them. That’s because one of the main symptoms of being in shock is not being aware of being in shock. Why is that? During a shock, the mind goes blank as a form of protection.

Contrary to popular opinion, having a shock response is not a sign of weakness. It is an important way that we protect ourselves. Nevertheless, if someone who has experienced shock doesn’t get a chance to relax and separate from the experience – or if they’re not able to – serious problems can develop, including ptsd. Scattered energy and a constant state of fight or flight takes its toll over time. Statements like: “I can’t think of anything positive,” “my life is falling apart” or “I feel so drained” describe the experience of ongoing, unresolved shock.

If any of the above seems familiar, you can go through this mind exercise to help you access your own innate healing abilities. Simply follow the directions step by step and gently pull your energy back into the present. 


Mind Body IntegrationMind Body Integration

The brain and body communicate through different channels when a part of you is crossed over the center of your body. As you go through the steps, cross and uncross a hand or foot over the midline of your body when you gaze at each Circle. Use a soft focus and breathe patiently. This will help you integrate your thinking more fully so that you can be more creative. If you have any negative self-talk, let it go by breathing through it.

Feel free to move at anytime in any way to help you embody your experience!


 

Resolving Shock and Confusion

Step One:

You may have just gone through a painful experience, a disruption in your life  or been triggered by a traumatic memory from the past. If so, you probably need to resolve a shock or a fixated idea that’s keeping you stuck in the pain. Take several deep breaths and relax while you look at this Circle that releases shock and inner conflict.

Imagine that the lines are relaxing and turning into spaghetti. Your mind might seem chaotic, confusing or blank, if so relax into whatever it is. You may get a conscious image or message or you may not.

Once you have a sense that your mind has found the blockage, imagine that it’s like an iceberg and the Sun is melting it away with a beautiful beam of light.
Allow it to melt until it’s completely gone.
Check for other blockages or conflicts that you can do the same with.

 

Step Two:

In situations like this, there’s too much going on and you don’t want to scatter. Your mind may have too many windows open – like on a computer screen.

Let this Circle help you close the tabs in your mind to help you feel better and more contained.

 

Step Three:

The environment is changing and you need to protect yourself. Relax with this symbol and close down all harmful energy channels that your mind or body may be open and vulnerable to.

If you like, ask your Soul for divine protection.

 

Step Four:

Don’t forget to stay hydrated. Make sure you’re drinking plenty of fresh water. If you swish it around in your mouth before you swallow, the water will go where it needs to go faster and more efficiently.

Water is your good friend. Especially now!

 

Step Five:

A lot is changing. Gather up your mental, emotional, spiritual and physical resources. What’s most important for you to include?

 

Step Six:

Your senses may have been knocked out of balance. Reconnect with them and focus on being present. Use them to become aware of your body and what you need right now.

Re-orient yourself in your environment, especially if it’s changed.

Take whatever time you need to focus on actions that will bring you back into balance and benefit your well-being. You may want to write ideas down because it’s easy to forget.

 

Step Seven:

Your energy probably needs some balancing. Go through this short sequence to make repairs and get back in order:

A) Get help clearing your energy field of toxins. Use this Key to relax and mend any energetic wounds that are associated with smoke, chemicals or other negative energies. 

Like a healing balm, imagine that a loving coat of peace and comfort is pouring down over you.

 

B) When a person is under extreme stress, their energy can become blocked, scattered, reversed or even shut down completely.

Let this Key help you make corrections and repair any glitches, holes or jagged energies in your system.

Keep relaxing with it until the energy smooths out and you begin to sense the calming energy of your Soul coming through.

 

C) Keep your wits about you. Clear away dark and heavy thoughts.

Use this Circle to imagine you can infuse your body with light and Love. Doing so will help to remove fear, negativity and darkness from your energy field.

Dispense with the darkness by sending it to the Light for purification.

 

D) Bring your attention to your own heart center. Imagine you can connect with your Source and activate the Light that lives within you.
You are never alone.

 

Step Eight:

Now it’s time to turn down the volume on all the noise from outside. As you breathe deeply, let this Circle help you to adjust the volume and pitch of your senses to just the right level.

Not too high and not too low – just right.

Soon you will be able to hear that calm, gentle voice inside that reminds you about what matters the most to you.

Let yourself be sad if you need to be. Tears are a sign of letting go of shock.

 

Step Nine:

It also helps to open and close your hands to get more present. Move your fingers and wiggle your toes around. Notice the time and where you are. These actions all help whenever you’re resolving shock. 

 

Step Ten:

Now you can let your nervous system calm down too. Slow down and listen to the rhythm of your heart.
You’re feeling better with every breath you take.

Move around in any way that you instinctively feel you need.

 

Step Eleven:

Oftentimes, resolving shock and confusion requires a change in priorities. There may be certain plans, ideas or thoughts that make you feel distressed. You can use this symbol for dissolving destructive blueprints to help you identify them and dissolve whatever is distressing you.

Simply imagine that the negative patterns in your mind are like dark clouds or a tangled maze of confusion.

Surrender the darkness into the pure light of the Sun and let the maze dissolve completely.

You’ll know that you’re done when your mind feels clear enough to visualize you standing in a beautiful field with the Sun shining down upon you.

Please note: Never send destructive energies into the Earth, she already has too much to handle now. Use the Earth for planting seeds of happiness and life – not death!

 

Step Twelve:

Before you finish with this formula, take a minute to seal and heal any holes, leaks or openings in your energy field.
Do that both crossed and uncrossed over the midline of your body.
Your mind and nervous system need closure.

Step Thirteen:

Finally, let your heart recover. This Key helps you balance your heart energy and clear away any residual heaviness. Breathe deeply and take your time.

 

Feel any remaining heaviness lifting up and out of your heart. Let it radiate out to the Light where it can be transformed.

Take care of yourself and remember that you are loved.
