Resolving Shock and Confusion is an excerpt from RESOLVE – Soul Oriented Solutions for Staying True and Following Through by Rheanni Lightwater.

This mind exercise uses the Intuitive Learning Circle™ method for resolving shock when you are:

  • Feeling stuck, lost or helpless
  • Unable to relax tension
  • Caught in a “blank” or confused state of mind
  • Waking up at night with obsessive thoughts
  • Reliving painful experiences.

Resolving Shock and ConfusionAny person involved in a traumatic event could experience disorientation, numbness, mental confusion or fragmentation. They might even disconnect and leave their body. This includes people who are witness to traumatic experiences in some way. These are all ways that the unconscious mind protects us during a traumatic event.

Sometimes people who’ve experienced a shocking event will tell you that they’re fine and not to worry about them. That’s because one of the main symptoms of being in shock is not being aware of being in shock. Why is that? During a shock, the mind goes blank as a form of protection.

Contrary to popular opinion, having a shock response is not a sign of spiritual weakness. It is a physiological event. Nevertheless, if the person doesn’t get a chance to get grounded in their body again – or if they’re not able to – serious problems may develop. Blocked energy and a constant state of fight or flight takes its toll over time. Statements like: “I can’t think straight,” “my life was shattered” or “I feel disconnected” describe the experience of shock.

If any of the above seems familiar, you can go through this mind exercise step by step to help you access your own innate healing abilities and bring yourself back into balance.

Simply follow the directions and see if you can free up some of the confusion and conflict that comes from shock.

Resolving Shock and Confusion

Step One:

Take several deep breaths and relax while you look at this Circle that releases shock and inner conflict.

Imagine you can use it to focus in on a conflict or rigid thought that’s blocking your way. If your mind is blank, focus on how “blank” it is. You may get a conscious image or message, or you may not.

Once you have a sense that your mind has found the blockage, imagine you can send a beam of light directly to it. Allow your laser beam to break up the fixation until it’s gone.

Check for other blockages or conflicts that you can do the same with.

Step Two:

The next step is to bring your senses into balance so that you can see and hear things without the distortion that often accompanies shock.

As you breathe deeply, let this Circle help you to adjust the volume and pitch of your senses to just the right level for you.

Soon you will be able to hear that “calm, gentle voice” inside that reminds you about what matters the most to you:

“I see things as they really are. My senses are balanced.”

“I reconnect with what matters the most.”

Step Three:

If your gut feels tight or uncomfortable, use this Circle to help you relax in your solar plexus and get back into balance there.

“It’s safe. I can feel safe again.”

Step Four:

Sometimes a person who’s coming out of shock will be disoriented and feel a bit “out of their body.” In case that’s happening with you, take a few minutes to consciously bring yourself back into your body.

“I am at home in my center. I am inside myself.”

Close your hands into fists and then stretch them out wide several times. Wiggle your toes around. Notice the time and where you are. These actions all help whenever you’re resolving shock.

Step Five:

The next thing is to make sure you’re grounded. Without proper grounding, you could be flying all over the place, wasting your time and not getting anything constructive done. That’s the last thing you want right now!

Let this Circle for grounding help you. Place both feet on the ground and your hands on each knee while you use these affirmations:

“I uproot whatever is confusing me.”

“I decide to get grounded. The Earth supports me.”

Step Six:

Oftentimes, resolving shock and confusion requires a change in priorities. There may be certain plans, ideas or habitual patterns that make you feel trapped or confused. You can use this symbol for dissolving destructive blueprints to help you identify them and dissolve whatever is confusing you.

Simply imagine that the negative patterns in your mind are like dark clouds or a jumbled maze of lines, dead ends and cages.

Once you have the image, bring the pure light of the Sun in and dissolve the maze completely.

Step 7:

The next step is to seal and heal any holes, leaks or openings in your energy field. These openings may lead to danger or allow harmful energies to attach to you.

As you gaze at the Circle, imagine harmful leaks and openings are closing as if they were never there.

“All holes are healed and sealed.”

“I follow the protection of healthy direction.”

Step 8.

To finish this exercise, let your heart recover. This Circle will help you to balance your heart energy and clear away any residual heaviness. Breathe deeply and take your time.

“I feel the heaviness lifting up out of my heart.”

“I let it go and send it to the Sun where it can be transformed.”

“I choose to be happy and healthy.”

“I resolve the conflicts and confusion.”

“I live from the heart.”

All you have to do is read each step and then follow through on it’s instructions while you gaze softly at each Intuitive Learning Circle™.

An important note ~ 

mind Body IntegrationThe brain and body communicate through different channels when a part of you is crossed over the center of your body. If you feel resistant or stuck, cross or uncross a hand or foot over the midline of your body and go back to the Circle, breathing patiently. See if your thinking starts to move again. Let negative self-talk go by breathing through it.


1. Think of an intention or goal that is important to you, yet always seems to end up in some kind of struggle or frustration.

Example: staying positive while on Facebook. 

Once you have it, gaze softly at the Circle and see if you can place your intention in the center, open space. Imagine that helpful energy is streaming down each of the lines towards your goal.

 

2. What are some of the negative thoughts and emotions that come up for you when you think about your intention?

 

3. Release any agreement you have with the idea that struggling, blaming or complaining will help you to achieve your goal.

Are there other agreements you’d like to let go of?

“I’d like to change my point of view about ____________.”

“I want to disengage from _____________.”

 

4. Use this affirmation to help you clear out any negative energy from your Root Chakra.

“I clear struggle and hardship from the foundation of how I use my energy.”

“Instead I choose to be lively, connected, energized and open to peace.”

 

5. Let this symbol for dissolving destructive blueprints help you to let go of your negative thoughts and emotions.

Imagine that accusations, complaints and struggles are all like black clouds in the sky and that you can dissolve them completely. Dissolve your attachment to them.

Keep breathing deeply until the sky is completely clear.

6. Now, bring your attention to the energy center of your heart. Get connected and let it balance out.

Once you’re ready, imagine a gateway that leads to a garden of peace filled with the beauty of nature and pure sunlight. 

Allow the light to grow stronger and brighter.

 

7. Give yourself permission to open up the gate and enter your own garden of peace.

Go ahead. Open the gateway to peace in your heart and step in. Imagine the helpful energy pouring into the center of the circle again.

What do you notice? What does it feel like?

 

 8. Ground yourself by putting both feet on the floor and centering yourself. Use this affirmation:

“It’s okay to be in my garden of peace. It’s where I belong.”

 

8. What are some ways that you can protect this peaceful frame of mind and heart?

Sometimes the simplest things can make a big difference.

 

9. What are some ways that you can nurture and grow these feelings of peace?

 

10. Is there a decision to make or some inner guidance for you to follow regarding your goal or intention?

Old Soul

Make a note of it, so that you don’t forget.

 

Finish it all up now by sealing and healing any pathways or holes that lead back to old harmful patterns of frustration or suffering.

“All holes are sealed and healed.”

“Experiences from your family of origin have shaped your imagination and fostered limiting beliefs about what is possible. If you look around you right now, you may realize that most everything you see has been influenced by the tastes and tendencies that began in your childhood. In your adult life, you will need to expand your imagination to find your way to creating the happiness you desire.

Tune Into the Kind of Emotional Energy That Will Take You Where You Really Want to Go~

Sometimes people have been conditioned so deeply to be afraid or negative, they aren’t really sure what to do when things are going well. The way you view yourself and what you think you’re capable of is colored by habitual behaviors learned in early love relationships as well as childhood experiences. You may simply be struggling with old programs, agendas and destructive tendencies. However, there is a simple way to change the emotional energy you’re tapping into using these Intuitive Learning Circles™ with your imagination.

Step One: Awareness

Think about how things were communicated to you when you were little. Use this symbol to help you tap into the problem so that you can clear it out. Ask yourself:

“Is there a pattern of family dysfunction that is coming to the surface for me now?”

Learning Difficulties – The Genius of Thinking Differently

I’ve learned from experience that what others may call a disease or disability can become the foundation for brilliance, innovation and thinking outside the box.

I was raised in a time before ADD, ADHD or Dyslexia were considered diseases. In the fifties and early sixties, kids like me didn’t have learning difficulties, we were simply labelled slow, troublemakers or stupid. Judging from the amount of time I spent in the principle’s office, I was probably put into the troublemaker category pretty early on!

Learning Difficulties - Left HandedI remember when I was just beginning to learn how to write my name in cursive. I was trying to figure out which hand worked better making all those loops and curly-ques. While experimenting with my left hand, my second grade teacher came over to me and plucked the pencil right out of my hand. “You don’t want to use that hand,” she barked, “only bad people are left handed.”

I didn’t like that teacher much (for obvious reasons) so, at that moment I made a decision. I was going to be left-handed just to spite her! To this day, I am quasi-ambidextrous – I write with my left hand and do just about everything else with my right.

Similarly, I had difficulty getting my b’s and d’s right. They always seemed to get mixed up in my mind. I was restless in class because I had trouble concentrating and following what the teacher said was unbearable to me. In my early 20’s I even experienced stuttering because I literally couldn’t think of anything to say when in conversation. My mind would go completely blank, which was humiliating to me.

I know that most of the time, advice from teachers, family and friends was meant to help. They just couldn’t understand why I had learning difficulties or what to do about them. Unfortunately, having a mind that’s wired differently meant that techniques that worked well for others, didn’t work well for me.

Much later in life, I started to accept that doing things the way that other people did them just wasn’t going to work for me. I was eventually forced to accept that my learning difficulties had to do with early childhood trauma when a family crisis put me into a full-fledged case of ptsd.

It took me quite a while to get my bearings again, but once I decided that it was okay to be different, outside of the approval of my family, my life took a sharp turn for the better. I stopped beating myself up and started to embrace the things that came naturally to me. I went into bodywork and somatic education together with hypnotherapy and mind/body energy work. I began to experience a satisfaction and success that I had never known before. Finally, I was allowing the way I was wired to lead me into exciting new fields of discovery and innovation!

I set to work learning about and putting together techniques from many different disciplines to help me and my clients, many of whom were highly sensitive people with similar learning difficulties. I developed a whole system of tools for better focus and concentration. I’ve also found that they can help with emotional healing, reducing stress and providing a way to activate advanced states of intuition and creativity.

Understanding How the Second Chakra is Involved in Creating Internal Safety ~

The Second Chakra Is Deeply Connected to how well we Nurture and protect ourselves.

Second Chakra - Creating Internal Safety

Primary Chakra LocationsThe Second Chakra is the energy plexus where emotions, digestion and immunity all come together. When it gets out of balance or stagnant, toxic pollutants from all those sources can negatively impact your physical, emotional and spiritual health.

Your 2nd chakra is located approximately 2-3 inches directly down from your navel.

When Creating Internal Safety, Keep in Mind ~

We Unconsciously Create Whatever We’ve Been Conditioned to Pay Attention To.

If you’re paying attention to negativity, what other people are doing or what you think they’re doing, you’re very liable to become depressed and develop a compromised immune system.

It’s common for empaths or other highly sensitive people to pay a lot of attention to other people in an effort to stay safe or get along. To develop healthy boundaries it helps to know that each of us has a unique vibration and “soul color” that allows us to vibrate with the Universe appropriately. Use the first Intuitive Learning Circle™ below to help you be sure that you’re tuning into your emotions and not someone elses!

Mind Body IntegrationTo fully integrate your personal vibration simply gaze softly at the Circle both crossed and uncrossed over the midline of your body while you affirm to yourself:

“I know who I am. I distinguish my needs from the needs of others.”

 

You can help yourself even more if you consciously move your preferred karma into the center open space of the Karmic Seed Circle and pay attention to it instead of other people’s stuff!

“I set things right by letting go of other people’s karmic issues. I now focus on my own, beneficial karma to create safety and well-being for myself.”

 

Keep going by clarifying the difference between you and others:

“I am inside of my body. I pay attention to what is best for me.”

Now that you’re clearer about what’s your energy and what belongs to others, you are ready to program your Second Chakra for Creating Internal Safety for You!


Creating Internal Safety is based on SOS Mind Exercise #8: Setting Up a Safe Space

Creating Internal Safety by Setting Up a Safe Space The environment in your second chakra is very important to your self-care and emotional healing. When it’s balanced and healthy, it transmits a vibrant orange energy that attracts belonging and support. It’s also your creative center, the place where you produce your personal mana or creative energy. If it gets stagnant or caught up in emotional entanglements, your physical emotional and spiritual health could suffer. Instead of creating personal growth, you might get stuck in co-dependency or start creating toxic conditions for yourself without knowing why or what to do about it. If this sounds like something that you’ve been experiencing, you can do something about it.

In Creating Internal Safety, you’ll be utilizing your intuitive insight to implement very simple changes that can make a world of difference in how you’re creating internal safety in your personal space. You’ll discover that your intuition and unconscious mind are much more aware of whats going on than your conscious mind does!

Go through this mind exercise by reading each step and then gazing softly at the Circle that goes with it to gain insight about what creative changes you can make in your internal and/or external environment that will help you.


1. The goal of Creating Internal Safety is for you to get clarity about how well your personal space is supporting you and what you can do to make improvements. You might get insights about your body or in your external environment. After all, they are connected.

First, take some time to slow down while you gaze softly at the Circle. Breathe in and out several times. Drop your shoulders. Relax your jaw.

 

Now that you’re relaxed, imagine you can see the space within your Second Chakra (remember, that’s located about 2″ below your navel).

Zoom in, like a camera. See it moving in slow motion.

What do you notice? Go ahead and make notes about what you sense.

 

2. Gaze at this Circle and ask for help so that you can get more aware.

Is there anything in your personal space or immediate environment that could be triggering an unsettling reaction in you?

  • Is something missing? Is something present that shouldn’t be?
  • Is there toxic build up?
  • What else do you notice that doesn’t seem right?

 

3. Physical objects in your external space carry a lot of energy through them, especially if they have been gifted to you or are second hand pieces. These could be books, equipment, furniture, pictures and other objects of art. Are there any objects in your home or office that are having a negative effect on you? If so, can you identify them?

What would remedy the situation?

Does something need to be moved, rearranged, cleaned or removed completely? Can something be brought in to remedy the situation?

 

4. You could be preoccupied by things that cause you to be anxious. Relax and ask these questions:

“Is there something I can let go of that will help ease the situation?”

“if so, what is it and where is it located?”

“Am I internalizing anything?”

“Is there anything else?”

 

4. What emotion is running through you? Is it throwing you off balance?

If so, are you experiencing any emotional compulsions, obsessions or phobias?

 

6. Is there anything else that’s irritating you?

Identify it if you can.

What will remedy the situation?

Does something need to be moved, cleaned, cleared or rearranged? Does anything need to be removed completely?

Is there anything else?

 

7. Is there anything that you could bring into your space or your diet that would help you be happier or more creative?

Would anything increase your good health or emotional stability?

Could anything be done to increase your sense of safety?

What might you add that would bring more beauty into your space?

Congratulations! You can finish Creating Internal Safety by closing the door to any old pathways to suffering. Then remind yourself that your personal space belongs to you. How you take care of it has a profound effect on the rest of your life!

Navigate Your Karma: Understanding How the Root Cause is the Answer to Resolution ~ with Rheanni Lightwater

Your Root Chakra Is Deeply Connected to Personal and Collective Karma that Influences your Physical Conditions.

Root Chakra - Navigate Your Karma

Being human at this time and on this planet is your karma (as well as mine) and we share that karma collectively.

The best explanation of karma is simply the physical and spiritual law of cause and effect. “For every action, there is a reaction.” “What I put out comes back to me.” Whenever you have a thought, decide to follow through on it and then take action, you have created karma. As far as the cosmos is concerned there is no judgement about it or suffering assigned to it, only consequences. In other words, there will be some kind of effect to things that are put into motion.

Let’s use the example of your birth. Certain thoughts, decisions and actions that your grandparents took caused them to create the circumstances under which your parents conceived you. You incarnated! Your karmic seeds for being a human have ripened! That goes for me too, both good and bad, or as I like to put it – preferred and unpreferred.

The reason I like this distinction is because situations are neutral and often times the unpreferred situations actually help us to learn and propel us further on our spiritual journey. 

For example, we may not like what we perceive in the current collective events of society. Yet the chaos may be extremely valuable for us to experience as it assists us in understanding how we can create more preferred social structures and live together more peacefully.

There is always a mixture of preferred and unpreferred karma. It’s never all bad or all good. Even the terms “good” and “bad” are only relevant to your goals and point of view. You may say that your job situation is bad karma, yet to another person, having any job at all could be seen as good karma to them. Their perspective makes all the difference.

By the same token, you may see that new car as good karma today and tomorrow you get into a bad accident by driving too fast in it. Is it a punishment? No, simply the natural consequences of actions you’ve taken. However, if you decide that it’s a punishment and then you act on that decision, you are technically creating the karma for “punishment”. The cosmos is neutral, but you have condemned yourself.

If you then decide to deny your responsibility for your part in that accident and continue to lie about it, a karmic pattern begins to form. Denial only plants the karmic seeds for more denial and lies which then leads to punishment, then more denial, which then creates more lies… and so it goes – on and on and on.

How To Navigate Out of an Unpreferred Karmic Pattern

Of course the answer is to come clean with it. Be open to new thoughts, make a different decision and then take action on it.

Sounds simple, yet so very difficult. After all, there are those pesky consequences to consider!

Here’s what I do, and it seems to work pretty well. I offer it up for your consideration:

  1. I become open to new thoughts about hope and forgiving myself.
  2. I gather my courage and awareness to make a new decision based on what I would now prefer to experience.
  3. I take action on steps 1 and 2.

Let’s Walk Through It Via A Short Mind Exercise Using the Intuitive Learning Circles™

It helps to make an agreement to live with the truth and accept the facts as you navigate your karma. You can use this Circle and the affirmation together to help you establish a truthful intention:

“I agree to use truth to help me navigate through the root causes of my suffering.”

“I decide to be open to new thoughts about connecting with truth, hope and courage.”

“I forgive myself.”

“I accept the responsibility for following through on my true heart’s desire.”

So, What’s Next?

Take Personal Responsibility ~

Once karma has manifested, what we choose to do with it is what matters the most. When you navigate your karma in a responsible and proactive way, it has a positive effect on you and everyone around you whether they are aware of it or not. Sticking your head in the sand or identifying as a victim also has an effect.

What choices are you making about being human at this time and on this planet? Is there a choice that you’re resisting?

Remember that making no choice is still a choice.

 

That also means taking responsibility for your part in a situation and refraining from taking on other people’s karma. When we take on more responsibility than what is truly ours, we are actually creating more disharmony, more entanglements and planting more ‘unpreferred’ causes or seeds of karma.

In your current situation, are you taking on karma that isn’t really yours?

 

To help set it right, strengthen the unique vibration and signature of your Soul. Your soul vibration is like your fingerprint, completely unique to you! When your personal vibration is strong, it helps you to keep healthy boundaries and deflect any energy that is not yours.

Use this Circle and positive affirmations to seal leaks in your personal energy field.

“I close the doors on all entanglements and energy that is not mine. I decide to have good boundaries.”

Once you have that, great! What’s next after that?

Notice Where Your Attention Is – Problems or Solutions?

What you pay attention to is what you feed – so, what are you feeding?  Even if that attention is unconscious – especially if that attention is unconscious! As you gaze at the Circle, ask:

“Where is my attention and what kind of karma am I feeding for my future and the future of the planet and the children that I love?”

Does that feel preferred or unpreferred?

If it feels unpreferred, what kind of karma would you like to feed instead?

Use the Circle to refocus on your true heart’s desire. See if you can get a visual or a sense that feels true.

Make a note of what comes to you, because the ego likes to forget what the soul truly desires.

Develop helpful qualities that will help you navigate your karma.

In my experience, forgiveness for yourself is key to being able to turn an unpreferred karmic situation around. If you put forgiveness out, that is what the Universe will send back. When you plant karmic seeds of forgiveness for yourself, they become the cause for future forgiveness returning to you. Other qualities that are particularly helpful for the same reason are:

  • Simplicity and kindness
  • Willingness and courage to face the truth and find solutions
  • Commitment to follow through on your true heart’s desires
  • Compassion for yourself and others
  • Gratitude and appreciation.

If you like, you can plant the seeds for these qualities in your mind. Use the Circle to imagine the seeds being planted now.

Clear a space for preferred root causes to take hold within the Self.

Your chakras are part of how you use your energy to manifest your goals and your root energy provides a foundation for your basic needs. You can actually program your root chakra to function in alignment with your new mindset and solutions.

Use this Circle that taps into your root chakra to clear the energy there. It helps to imagine your Root Chakra as a brilliant, red vibration swirling in a clockwise direction at the bottom of your pelvis. It may feel stuck, reversed or clogged. Don’t worry! You can move it with your intention and attention! Take all the time you need to do that.

Once that’s complete, you can visualize all your new preferred decisions and karmic seeds connecting up with each other in a strong, harmonious and life affirming way.

Some people may be having difficulty physically and emotionally because they are out of balance on one or more levels of their Hierarchy of Needs.

Chakra Balancing with Reiki - Activated ChakrasHere is an interesting and informative comparison between Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs and the Seven Primary Chakras. As you go through this simple exercise using the Intuitive Learning Circles™ from Reiki Chakra Keys, you will not only gain some very interesting psychological insights, but you’ll also be able to clear and balance each of your seven Primary Chakras. 

Here’s how it works:

Put both feet flat on the floor and keep your arms and legs uncrossed. Read the information and then gaze softly at the corresponding Reiki Chakra Key for insight and energy healing. You will probably feel a lot of energy moving – that’s all right, that means the symbols are working with Reiki energy to cleanse and balance your chakras. You will know you’re done when the energy calms down and you have a clear answer to the questions. Then you can move on to the remaining Circles with each of their descriptions to complete the process. Once you’re done, remember to relax and allow your energy to settle.

Step One: Each of us has a unique vibration and “soul color” that allows us to sync up with the Universe appropriately.

It’s common for empath’s or other highly sensitive people to take on other people’s vibration in an effort to survive or get along. Use this first Circle to reinforce healthy boundaries and be sure that you’re reading your energy and not someone elses!

Mind Body IntegrationTo fully integrate your personal vibration simply gaze softly at the Circle both crossed and uncrossed over the midline of your body while you affirm to yourself:

“I know who I am. I distinguish my needs from the needs of others.”

 

Step Two: Your chakras respond to old conditioning and mindsets. To change your mindset, establish a strong intention stated in the positive.

Now that you know what your intention is, let’s find out what might be needed to balance each of your seven primary chakras to align with your goal!

First Chakra Key:

1st Chakra - Root Chakra

“Our root chakra is red and governs the physical body, our instincts and the assumptions we have about life.

If we have been brought up under the assumption that our bodies and physical processes are bad or dirty, we will manifest that on the physical plane. We will be prone to violence, disrespect and exhaustion.

In Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs the Root needs are physiological – air, food, drink, shelter, warmth, sex, sleep and having adequate methods of communication.

“Are my physiological needs being met? Am I giving them the proper priority, position and attention for my life to be in balance?”

Second Chakra Key

2nd Chakra - Spleen ChakraThe second energy center is referred to here as the spleen chakra because it is deeply connected to our emotions, digestion and immunity. Its color is orange.

When this chakra is dis-eased, toxic emotions and entanglements build up and poison the entire system. Our ability to create is repressed and depression sets in.

Free flowing energy here is essential to physical, emotional and mental health.

In Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs the second level needs are safety oriented – protection from the elements, security, order, law, stability and freedom from fear.

Gaze softly at the Second Chakra Key below for a minute or so. Then ask yourself:

“Are my safety and security needs being met? Am I giving them the proper priority, position and attention for my life to be in balance?”

Third Chakra Key:

3rd Chakra - Solar Plexus ChakraThe solar plexus chakra is the center of who we are and who we think we are, so it is fitting that its color is a bright yellow.

When our sense of ourselves is poor, the chakra becomes sluggish and clogged up.

If our sense of ourselves is positive, we have self-confidence and the chakra pulsates with vibrancy and harmony. We exude an attitude of faith and cheerfulness.

Our energy-level is high, we a have a high mental capacity for success and others are naturally attracted to our charisma.

In Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs the third level needs include love and belongingness needs – friendship, intimacy, affection and love from work group, family, friends, and romantic relationships.

Gaze softly at the Third Chakra Key below for a minute or so. Then ask yourself:

“Are my love and belongingness needs being met? Am I giving them the proper priority, position and attention for my life to be in balance?”

Fourth Chakra Key (Heart):

In Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs the fourth level needs include esteem needs – achievement, self-love, independence, status, dominance, prestige, self-approval, self-respect and respect from others.

“Are my compassion and esteem needs being met? Am I giving them the proper priority, position and attention for my life to be in balance?”

Fifth Chakra Key (Throat):

Fifth Chakra - Throat Chakra“The energy of the throat chakra is about what you put out into the world – having a voice. It’s about speaking your truth and is blue in color, as in ‘true blue’.

Many people in our society have difficulty with this energy center. This may manifest in suppressed emotions, not saying what we really mean or an inability to ask for what we need. It often impairs us from being able to achieve all that we are capable of.

A healthy throat chakra allows us to be clear and honest in our intentions, words and deeds. Through it we can avoid the bitterness and restlessness that comes from an unfulfilled life.” ~ Reiki Chakra Keys, Rheanni Lightwater

In Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs the fifth level needs include cognitive needs that include knowledge, meaning, expression, self-mastery and self-awareness.

Gaze softly at the Fifth Chakra Key below for a minute or so. Then ask yourself:

“Are my cognitive needs being met? Am I able to ask for what I need and straightforward in my requests? Am I giving them the proper priority, position and attention for my life to be in balance?”

Sixth Chakra Key (Third Eye):

Sixth Chakra - Third Eye Chakra“The third eye chakra contains the energy of insight and wisdom. Located in the center of the forehead just above the eyebrow, this chakra is associated with the color purple.

A healthy third eye is important in the development of intuition and common sense. When it’s blocked, we tend to doubt ourselves, become cynical and rely on the opinions of others.

We lose our imagination, our dreams and our personal power.

Conversely, when it’s clear, we are capable of regaining our inner vision and receiving clairvoyant information. We can develop relationships with our Higher Self, Angels, Teachers and Guides.

In Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs the sixth level needs include aesthetic needs – the appreciation of and search for beauty, balance and form, etc. Kuan Yin would add the need for spiritual insight and understanding.

“Are my needs for creativity and spiritual understanding being met? Am I giving them the proper priority, position and attention for my life to be in balance?”

Seventh Chakra Key (Crown):

Seventh Chakra - Crown chakra“The crown chakra is our connection to spirit. This is the energy center that connects us with divine inspiration. It’s color is white as it contains all things and it can cast a golden ring when in states of ecstasy.

In this experience of “enlightenment,” we can perceive the potential both within and without and are completely at peace with ourselves.

When this energy center is open and balanced, we more easily receive information and life force from our Higher Self and the Universe. It is important, however, to remember that the energy is intended to continue moving down through the chakras. Otherwise, we may find that we are always “up in our head” and disconnected from the body.

Healing Emotional Abuse - Transformation Game The key to healing emotional abuse and remaining positive in difficult times is to remember the bottom line – you are a being of love!

Sometimes we forget or never believed it in the first place. We allow past patterns of fear, hatred or abuse to influence us. One of the main ways that this happens is through confusion.

In order to move into the New Paradigm, we need ways to address the collective karma that is at the source of the confusion. In order to help with that, I’m inspired to share a powerful process that has helped many people shift negative collective patterns into positive well being. It’s called Healing Emotional Abuse– R Lightwater

“Did you know that a person who is stuck in confusion is probably under the influence of karmic patterns of abuse?
Some patterns are about individual karma and some are collective patterns. In other words, we are all affected by them in one way or another. A poignant example would be the tragedy of 9/11. Or Nazi Germany in World War II. All of us share the collective karma of that event, although the level of our involvement varies with each of us, of course.
The game below is made up of Intuitive Learning Circles™ that can help you disentangle from collective karma that’s causing you harm in the present. Simply go through the game by answering pertinent questions that will activate your heart wisdom and give you a new perspective.”

Step One: Gaze at the Circle for a moment and then consider this question:

“In what aspect of my life am I experiencing confusion or fear?”


Use the answer that came to you as the basis for the game so that you can disengage from the confusion and release your fears very quickly. If there is more than one situation causing you to be angry or fearful, go ahead and play the game again specifically for each situation. The best way to take the energy out of anything is to stop feeding it and turn your attention to whatever you love. That is exactly what Healing Emotional Abuse will help you to do with these unconscious patterns.”

How to Play Healing Emotional Abuse:

Simply gaze softly at the images below while you ponder the statements or questions that go with them. Use the symbols to help you go within and access new energy and clarity.  What you do with the information you come up with is up to you!

Mind Body Integration

Mind Body IntegrationFor best results, look at each symbol both crossed over the midline of the body and uncrossed so that the correction is more complete.

 

Step Two: Relax with this symbol and repeat to yourself several times:

“I am ready, willing and able to shift my perception from negative to positive.”

 

 

Step Three: While looking at this Circle, think of an aspect of your life that is troubling you. Ask your heart:

“What doesn’t seem right about how I am feeling?” or

“Is there a particular time when I feel especially anxious or confused?”

 

Step Four: Notice how this situation may shut you down or agitate you by opening your mind to confusion and turmoil. Breathe a few times and allow this Circle to help you calm down and get back into balance.

 

Step Five: Use this Circle to really tune into your heart. You can do this by focusing your attention in on your actual, physical heart.

Once you feel a connection, ask for help from your Soul resources.

Step Six: Use this symbol to help you dissolve any feelings of agitation, heaviness, confusion or fear that you might be feeling right now.

You can imagine the turmoil is like black clouds.

Continue to use your imagination to bring in the Sun and see the clouds breaking apart, dissipating into a clear, blue sky.

 

Step Seven: Now take a moment and focus on something or someone that you truly love. It could be a place in nature, a favorite animal, a person that you care deeply for. You can use this affirmation if you like:

“I turn my attention towards love.”

It also helps to place an image of what you love in the center, blank area of the Circle. Be sure to take all the time you need with this.

 

Step Eight: Imagine that you are creating something beautiful as an expression of your love. Allow yourself to plant the karmic seeds in your heart for love to blossom and grow.

 

Step Nine: Continue to visualize being calm and serene. Let your body drop into that feeling and let yourself unwind. You know what that feels like don’t you? So relaxed and very, very calm.
Imagine a gateway to loving kindness opening before you.

All  doors to anxiety or fear are closing.

 

 

Step Ten: If you really want to find out what it’s like to receive love, gaze softly at this symbol and play with your breath for a few minutes.

  • If you’re uncomfortable or tight – move around.
  • If your breathing feels stilted or anxious vary the tempo, the length and breadth of it.
  • Stretch. Fire breathe. Whatever it takes!

“I let go of the constraints that inhibit my body, mind and spirit.”

 

 

Step Eleven: Send any remaining heaviness or turmoil to the Sun. As it goes, feel the lightness and ease spreading throughout your entire body.

Your shoulders are dropping. Your breathing has gotten deeper and deeper.

You are surrounded by protection and comfort.

 

Step Twelve: Now, you’ll want to be sure that you’re heading in the right direction so, use this Circle with the affirmation until you feel the change has taken place:

“I’m heading in the direction of love.”

 

 

Step Thirteen: Finally, make a firm decision that you are done with this abuse and that you’re not going back. With this Circle, find the holes, openings or pathways that take you back to the past and close them – as if they were never really there.

“All holes are sealed and healed.”

“I follow the direction of healthy protection.”

 

12. Finish the game by making sure the protective coating of your aura is all sealed and healed – an important step that will help your health and your focus even more!

Now that you’ve extricated yourself from all that, take some time to rest and nurture yourself. Now would be a great time to take a walk or spend time in nature – doing something you love. Allow yourself to receive the blessings that come from leaving the past behind and healing emotional abuse.
